The 14th Annual Madison County Hop Fest starts Friday, Sept. 18 with a paired brew dinner at the Copper Turret, Route 20, Morrisville. On Saturday, Sept. 19 at 10 am, on the grounds of the Madison County Historical Society, 435 Main Street in Oneida, there will be presentations by guest speakers on a variety of hop related topics throughout the afternoon. From12-2 pm join us for the Taste of Hops: a food & beer pairing featuring appetizers and confectionary delights from The Colgate Inn, The Copper Turret, Ye Olde Landmark Tavern, and Meyers Chocolates. From 2:30-5:30 pm, join us under the beer tent for brewery samplings from some of your favorite craft breweries- Landmark, Cooperstown, Ithaca, Saranac, LongTrail, Middle Ages, High Falls, Ommegang, Magic Hat, Flying Bison, Butternuts, Brooklyn Lager, Smuttynose, DogFish Head, Southern Tier and more! There will be over 40 styles of craft beer to sample. Throughout the afternoon purchase your raffle tickets to win great beer related merchandise. One of the most scenic music festivals in the country, the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival takes place in Telluride, CO, a world-famous resort town in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Great Tucson Beer Festival
Please note date change to September 19! Join us for an evening of beer tasting at the ball park. The Great Tucson Beer Festival is held every fall in central Tucson . The cooler autumn evenings are just perfect for a get together with friends to taste a wide variety and styles of beer brought to you by brewers and breweries from around the Southwest. But it’s not just an evening of beer sampling - also on tap are hors d’oeuvres to sample (included in ticket price), fun games such as horseshoes and steer roping (it’s not a real steer) and the most excellent music, all night long. Our VIP section is full of extra benefits, including entry an hour earlier at 5 pm, a souvenir tasting mug, catered food and a special wine garden. General admission tickets will be limited to 3,500 and VIP tickets to 500. Ticket prices are $50 and $80 respectively, but will cost $60 and $90 if purchased at the gate on event day. Firestone Walker's Oaktoberfest
st year’s Oaktoberfest boasted over 1000 attendees and raised well over $20,000 for Hospice of San Luis Obispo County. This year Firestone Walker Brewing Co. is hoping to raise over $30,000 for Hospice. Oaktoberfest has proven to be one of the most unique and exciting festivals on the Central Coast. Activities from the keg toss to the ceremonial tapping of the first beer have all become favorites of festival goers. This year’s event won’t disappoint either with a great line up of imported German beers, Firestone Walker beers, German varietal wines from local wineries, and authentic German cuisine provided by Old Vienna Restaurant. Polka sensation Trio Internationale is set to play along with another band yet to be announced. The event will kick off at noon on Saturday, September 26th with the arrival of Firestone’s Oaktoberfest beer brought in via horse drawn carriage. Tickets are $40 day of/$45 at the door and include a collectible half liter stein, 2 tickets for beer, a German food platter and admittance to the entire event. Designated drivers can purchase tickets day of for $10 each.
